How to Make Bag Charms
A beginner-friendly method for building a polished bag charm.
1. Pick one anchor piece
Start with the largest visual idea: a cherry, heart, stone, bow or letter.
2. Choose two supporting colors
Repeating a color makes mixed materials feel intentional instead of random.
3. Add texture
Pearl, cord, soft texture or polished metal gives the stack depth.
4. Test it on the bag
Clip the unfinished piece onto the actual handle before locking the arrangement.
5. Keep it reusable
Use clasps and rings so pieces can move to keys, a camera strap or belt loop.
